Truro, Spirit of the Mountain, 9”H 
Inspired by the Japanese mythical bird-man. Truro can invade dreams, is telepathic and capable of transporting. He is Protector of children who have lost their way in the woods. His insignia is cloud.

A note on his name Truro. It is the name of a small city in Cornwall, England, to which my spouse traces part of his ancestral roots. We located the area, Kenwyn, where his ancestors lived. The neighborhood still has its old Romanesque church, and its streets still bear the centuries old layout.

The scabbard is fashioned from a piece of driftwood, and the feathers on his head were shed by our zebra finches.
